Record a video to your song

Steps

   Open Video and create a project. Choose the folder in your drive where the finished videos should be saved.

   Pick the song and the version you want, then set Start at and End at to the part you want to perform — leave End at blank to run to the end of the song.

   Choose the shape: Portrait for TikTok and Reels, Square, or Landscape. The recording is cropped to that shape, so what you see is what you get.

   Choose the sound: Song only keeps the studio-clean track, Song + my voice records both, and My camera only plays the song for you without putting it in the file.

   Press Turn on camera, then Record. You get a three-count, the song plays, and recording stops on its own at your end marker.

   Watch the take back. Keep this take saves it to your drive, Record again starts over, and Discard throws it away.

7. 7

   Saved videos are listed under the recorder, where you can play them, copy a share link, or download them.

Tips

• Wear headphones when you record Song + my voice, otherwise the song is picked up twice.
• Videos live in your own cloud drive — we only keep the link, the same as everything else in the app.
• Keep takes under three minutes; long clips are slow to upload from a phone.

Troubleshooting

• If the camera won't open, allow camera access for the site in your browser settings and reload.
• Close any other app using the camera — most devices only let one app use it at a time.
• iPhone, iPad and Mac save MP4; Chrome and Edge on Windows save WebM, which some social apps won't accept directly.
