Name a take with your voice
Get a properly named take without touching the keyboard.

Steps
- 1
Turn on the spoken title option in ScratchPad or HotTake.
- 2
Start recording and say the title first, then the keyword: "The Broken Road, comma, I've been gone too long…"
- 3
Everything before the keyword becomes the title of the recording and of the lyrics or notes file.
- 4
Everything after it becomes the body text — the title and the keyword itself are left out.
- 5
Spoken numbers before the keyword are written as digits, so "oh one" becomes 01.
- 6
If you say "comma" again later in the take, it's ignored — only the first one counts.
Tips
- The default keyword is "comma". Say it clearly and pause slightly before it.
- With the option off, takes fall back to the standard date-based name.
