Import songs to your library

Turn audio that already lives in your cloud drive into songs in your library.

Import from drive screen prompting you to connect a drive first
Files → Import from drive reads folders straight from your connected drive.

Steps

    Go to Import.

  2. 2

    Pick the drive you want to import from.

  3. 3

    Browse to a folder, or use the search box to find folders anywhere on that drive — subfolders are searched too.

    To bring in a whole folder, choose the folder and let it auto-import every audio file it finds.

  5. 5

    To hand-pick, tick the files you want and click Import selected.

  6. 6

    Before importing, decide whether each file is a new song entry or another version of a song you already have, and set the version tag.

    Open Library to see the results. Each song is one entry, with its versions grouped underneath.

Tips

  • MP3, WAV, and OPUS all play end-to-end in the browser.
  • Importing never moves or renames anything in your drive.
  • Re-run an import on the same folder after you add new recordings — existing songs aren't duplicated.
