Backing tracks & the stem mixer

Rehearse or perform to your own stems with full control over the mix.

Steps

Go to Backing Tracks and create a track, then point it at the folder in your cloud drive that holds the stems.

Each file becomes a channel. Set the level with the fader, and use mute and solo to work on one part at a time.

Use Import Stem to add another part from your drive at any time.

Drag channels left or right to put the mix in the order you think in.

Open a channel's effects panel for its own processing, and the mastering panel for the whole mix.

Drop markers on the timeline, and loop between two of them to drill a section.

Save the settings you like as a named mix, then load it again any time. Defaults puts everything back.

Use Download Mix to render a stereo file to your device, or Export to Library to write that mix back to your own drive and add it to your library as a song or a new version.

Stems download to the device before playback, so a weak signal at the venue doesn't interrupt you.

An exported mix keeps its trail: the mixdown is logged in the authorship record.
Backing Tracks is included in your membership.

Nothing loads — check the folder actually contains audio files, and that the drive is still connected on Files → Drives.
