Song details, links & video
Hold everything about a song — not just its audio — in one record.
Steps
- 1
Open a song and click Song details.
- 2
Fill in author, key, BPM, time signature, duration and the date written. These appear on printed lyrics and charts.
- 3
Don't know the tempo? Press Detect under the Tempo field and the app listens to the recording and fills in the BPM. If it lands on half or double time, tap x1/2 or x2 to correct it — nothing is saved until you press Save.
- 4
Click Add URL to attach a link: give it a name (YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, or anything you like) and paste the address, then click Done. Add URL stays put so you can add as many as you need.
- 5
A YouTube link puts a YouTube icon on the song row, so the video is one tap away.
- 6
Click Video to browse your cloud drive for a video file and attach it. A video icon then shows beside the YouTube icon; from there you can open it in the drive or download it.
- 7
Set the song's Status — Idea, Demo, Rehearsing, Recorded or Released — so you can see at a glance where it sits.
- 8
Add tags like co-write, worship or cut for album. Type a tag and press Enter or comma, or click a tag you've already used elsewhere.
- 9
Add comments to a song when you want arrangement notes or reminders alongside it.
Tips
- Links and video are attached to the song record, so they follow it into playlists and setlists.
- The library can filter by status and by tag, and the search box matches tags too.
